We possess an extensive network of barbershops where we can facilitate your employment placement. If a position is available at Dilla Fades, we would be pleased to consider assigning our graduates. Certainly, individuals desiring further education following the completion of the course are welcome to engage in additional training with us at no cost.

You will need to obtain the following equipment to be able to complete / start your course;

Clippers, Clipper guards (0.5-8), Detailers, Foilers, Cutting scissors, Thinning scissors, Cutting comb, Clipper comb, Vent brush, Round brush , Water spray bottle, Neck brush, Fade brush, Hairdressers’ hair block (female, real, long hair)

Each learning day will differ depending on which stage we are at with the learning. There will be a good mix of theory and practical, but the further on you are, the more practical experience we will be focusing on. Typically, we will usually start with some classroom-based theory work, then will move onto live practical sessions in our busy shop floor.

Qualifications are not necessary, and we welcome any person wanting to learn with us regardless of experience or background, for those who have barber qualifications or experience in the field we will adapt our teaching accordingly.

Yes, there is a minimum age of 16 years old, but no maximum age.

Maximum class sizes are 5 learners, and only 3 will be cutting hair with our close supervision at one time. One of our unique selling points is the individual one to one support you will receive on our course, due to the small class sizes.
